Ikos Olivia is located approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Thessaloniki airport and five minute walk from the picturesque fishing village of Gerakina. Gerakina is a wonderful un-spoilt traditional village still thriving with Greek traditions.
The Olivia is situated close to small shops and beachfront tavernas, meeting the locals is a wonderful experience they are all very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend taking a walk around the local area and looking at the beautiful local homes with flourishing flowers and taking a pit stop on the beachfront benches to watch the sunset in its full glory.
The Ikos Olivia is set in beautiful olive tree gardens spanning 22 acres in total with a white beach stretching 450m.
Feel free to hire complimentary one of the Ikos Resorts bikes and take the family for a ride around the local area. Ikos Olivia staff will be more than happy to point out some routes ranging from 10 minutes to 3 hours, all extremely safe to take little ones out also.
