Excellent holiday for our family of 15.

We will certainly visit another Ikos Resort as it gave us everything we needed for a 3 generation holiday.

My only grumble was the reservation system for dinner. Although we booked 3 nights in advance, the reservation

for the remaining nights proved time consuming. The staff were trying their best but I do think the system needs improving.

For a family group of 14 such as ours with ages from 12 to 80 the hotel just could not have been better. The beach and pools never seemed overcrowded, the choice of restaurants and menus provided something for everyone, the staff could not have been more helpful and all-inclusive really meant all-inclusive. The deluxe option was also well worth having. The entertainment was very good and our teenagers reveled in the disco.

Having been regular visitors to Porto Sani, Sani resort for 6 years , this was our first venture to an all inclusive option. Beautiful location, high quality furnishings , food and service. We rebooked for the new Ikos Aria and stayed there this year ( unfortunately this site doesn’t allow for a review there )! The only thing Dassia needs to change is to find more upmarket external

2nd visit and we could not fault the accommodation the food and the staff. We went with our teenage daughter end of June after her A levels to miss the English school holidays , only to realise that everyone with under school age kids had the same idea ! Terrible noise walking through the buffet to breakfast everyday and screaming babies at 9.30pm in the Restaurants at night ! We were seated in an adult only area but only separated by a screen. Please IKOS make some adult only areas or ban babies in restaurants after 9pm in the evening, has certainly put us off returning sorry

We loved everything about Ikos Aria apart from the fact that there were far too many children. Everywhere was noisy and no matter how late at night you ate, all the restaurants were overrun with small children , not unsurprisingly making a lot of noise. This changes the feel of a holiday. It’s great if you have come with your own, but if you are hoping for a quiet romantic get away, this is not for you. No restaurants are adult only and the effort to seat toddlers at one end of a restaurant and adults at the other really didn’t work. There’s a difference from being child friendly (nice) and child dominated (chaos). Ikos need to decide which market they want here.

My family & I stayed at the ikos Oceania for 2 weeks & had an amazing time!

It was perfectly clean & the facilities were excellent. There isn't much outside of the hotel but this didn't matter as we had everything we needed in the resort & meant it was quiet, they akso offered a free shuttle bus every hour to the nearest town 10 mins away if needed.

My 2 kids both used the kids clubs a few times & we were really impressed with how they were run, & they both really enjoyed it. They felt safe which meant we could relax knowing they were well looked after.

What really made the experience though was the staff, they were all so friendly & made an extra effort to make sure you had everything thing you needed. Especially Angela & Marietta in the frence restaurant provonce, Despoina at the beach & Vaza at the pool, Always smiling & made an extra effort with us & the kids to make us feel welcome.

The beach was great too with selected watersports like paddleboarding & canoeing thrown in & a relaxed atmosphere around the beach bar & beds.

Although when we went it was fully booked it never felt busy, it was all managed very well, & made for a great family holiday

Welll done Ikos,

looking forward to coming back!

Mr and Mrs W wrote: visited here in May for 2 weeks and was our 3rd Ikos bash. The trouble with Ikos brand is that it is difficult to find anywhere better! Luckily they seem to be adding in new venues, seemingly every 2 years, (Kos 2019 then watch out for Spain followed by Portugal) so no need to worry!

This year we downgraded our room to have no sea view, took advantage of their 10% offer and consequently paid less for our 2 weeks than our previous year with one week sea view 2 balconies. The front rooms get the evening sun of which we took advantage. To enjoy the sea view in the mornings simply breakfast out at Kerinia or Sea Flavours which has open areas with a great view.

This year Mr. W took advantage of the mountain bicycles (superb local mountain rides, try the climb to Sokraki via Agious Markos) and Mini car. The bike ride is about 15 miles round trip, climbing 1500ft. The Mini trip to cover the Northern circle of Corfu cost 14E. Bargain, quiet roads (in May).

Other Reviews have praised the food facilities and particularly the staff with which I fully concur.

Minor wish was that the site ice cream was as good as the local offering in Corfu Town. It’s so sweet.

This was our second visit to Ikos Dassia and it did not disappoint. This hotel serves all ages perfectly. My husband and I enjoyed a week there by our selves until our family arrived for the second week. The rooms in the Sky building are so comfortable and we love the Sky adult pool. The service there is unbelievable , someone always asking if you wanted a drink, bringing snacks or cleaning your sunglasses. And please be aware you do not need to be in Deluxe to get this sort of service!

In our second week we see it from a younger persons point of view. Our daughter and husband love all the restaurants and bars ( especially when we babysit,!) and so do we. The granddaughters (aged 5 and 8) love the kids club- be sure to book in advance to get in. The Pirates Balloon Party and games for all the children was great fun for all.

There is so much on offer it’s not possible to review it all. Just a fab, fab place to be.

IKOS Dassia, Corfu. Just returned from IKOS Dassia, an 'ultra all inclusive' vacation. Luton to Corfu just shy of 3hrs, followed by a complimentary 20/25mins transfer to the Hotel. Just opened last year & was so good we will return next year. Not cheap - hey, retirement has been 40yrs in the making - but 'ultra all inclusive' includes all meals and drinks - with regular approaches from staff to enquire what snacks / drinks you need throughout the day. We went for a beach-front, sea-view,1-bed, deluxe suite, with private pool. Fantastic. Spacious, light, airy, separate lounge & bedroom, splendid shower/bathroom en-suite, copious storage space & with a tremendous outlook across the Ionian Sea. Free shuttle transfers to & from Corfu town throughout the day. The deal also included a Mini being made available to tour the island, should we wish to do so - paying only for the petrol. Great choice of Greek, Asian, Italian & French restaurants on site. A 90mins sunset cruise, to & from Corfu, was also part of the deal - with sparkling wine to enjoy, along with a sea view of the house used in 'The Durrels'. Wonderful 'personally professional' staff tending to your every need. Worked hard on the tan. Soporific. Ahhhhhhh.

Little to improve upon in reality, it was a wonderful / memorable experience, just a personal observation:

Mini-bar: make it more personal, by enquiring of individual tastes prior to arrival - eg: we prefer German wines to champagne.

Highly recomended. Thank you.
